Vet Clinic
Intern Training
I designed this eLearning concept for a vet clinic, whose name is Vet Up. My client reached me regarding his need for a training. We discussed his needs, and I collected more information from SMEs to design a unique training that truly addresses my client’s needs.
Here is more about this project:
Audience: The vet interns
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Visual Design
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Miro
The Problem and Solution
My client reported encountering some challenges with some of his interns regarding the interns’ lack of proper training due to Covid-19 pandemic. The students were reported to have the theoretical knowledge, but they lacked the basic practice needed before they kicked off their internship. Therefore, I developed a training module that offers a unique learning experience for the interns.
The Process and Action Plan
First of all, I created the Action Plan for my project. I utilized Miro to develop the action plan. The plan was created step by step. I added some interactive elements and dialogs to create a welcoming atmosphere. I divided this plan in four missions. My portfolio includes a sample of the whole project, so only “Mission 1” is now accessible for third party users. The first thing in the clinic when a client shows up is the completion of the anamnesis. Therefore, it was integrated into the first mission in my project. Communicating with the pet owner by asking the appropriate questions is crucial to find out the problem. So, I preferred a drag-and-drop activity for this process. The right questions should be dragged and dropped on the correct place. The most significant contribution of this eLearning project to the client is that the interns are now able to collect the right information depending on the case at hand.

Visual Mockups
I designed visual elements on Adobe Illustrator and Canva. I created colorful and fun illustrations to be used both inside and outside of the vet clinic. Besides, I preferred to use not only a relaxing but also a dynamic color scheme and used it in the entire project.
